2nd Race for the Goal 5K & 1K Fun Run, Saturday, August 1st at 8 a.m.

What better way to tie in our Community with soccer than doing the thing soccer players do best–Running!  The United Futbol Academy is hosting the event.

Highlights:

  • T-shirts will be the athletic dry wick material with your choice of men’s or women’s cut, or a cool cotton shirt in kids’ sizes.
  • Discounts for families/ teams of 4+ registering at one time
  • We will have a water slide and a bounce house to cool off and look forward to when you’re done with your run at the start/ finish line
  • The course will be scenic and largely shaded
  • Skillz will be there to run with, hug and celebrate the run
  • Great after race snacks and fun
  • Kona Ice will be selling yummy and refreshing ice’s to cool you off
  • Great team building opportunity (run as a team)
  • We’ll have a DJ playing some tunes and making cool announcements
  • Dick’s promotional cash for the winners along with their award

Registration Begins at 7 a.m. at Pinckneyville Park, 4707 S Old Peachtree Rd, Norcross, GA 30071

This will be a great family-fun event packed full of race-time fun, vendors and a great 5K course all for a great cause.

The proceeds will go toward the UFA Scholarship fund, allowing kids to play the great sport of soccer in a recreational or competitive environment who otherwise could not afford to do so.
