| The Atlanta Thrashers will be hosting a FREE hockey clinic at Pinckneyville Park on Saturday, Aug. 21st!!
This unique event is open to both boys and girls, ages 3 – 14 years old. The clinic is free, but to participate, you must pre-register online. For more details and to register, click on the link below. |
According to the Peachtree Corners Booster Club, here is your chance to come out and Learn To Skate at the Pinckneyville Inline Rink. The Atlanta Thrashers Community Hockey Development Team and “Thrash,” the official mascot of your Atlanta Thrashers, will be on hand to host this exclusive Inline Skating Clinic on February 22nd, 2009.
Please note to participate in the Atlanta Thrashers Inline Hockey Clinic you MUST pre-register online (below). There is no fee associated with this clinic, but you must register by Friday, February 20th (by 5pm) to be eligible to participate.
Event: Learn to Skate
Date: Sunday, February 22nd
Time: 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Who: Beginning Skaters between the ages of 5 – 10
Where: Pinckneyville Inline Rink
*All Participants will go home with an official Street hockey Stick courtesy of the Atlanta Thrashers
**Weather Permitting
***All players would need at the very least skates and a helmet.
Shin pads, pants, and elbow pads are encouraged.
Directions to Pinckneyville Inline Rink (4758 S. Old Peachtree Road):
Pinckneyville Park is just east of Peachtree Industrial Blvd. between Norcross and Duluth. At the intersection of Peachtree Industrial and Spalding/S. Old Peachtree (by the Dairy Queen), go approximately 1 block east. Turn right into the park entrance and follow the road around to the right to the hockey rink.
