Gwinnett Parks Foundation 5K November 13th at Tribble Mill Park

The Gwinnett Parks Foundation will be hosting a 5K road race on Sat., Nov. 13 at Tribble Mill Park.

The race features a beautiful 5K course on the trail at the park as well as a special Canine and Carriage for those wanting to run with their dogs or strollers. All registered runners will receive a race t-shirt. Medals will be given to all participants who finish and awards will be presented to Overall Male and Female, Master Male and Female and 3-deep in five-year age categories.

Proceeds from the race benefit the Gwinnett Parks Foundation, a nonprofit group of volunteers interested in supporting and expanding the county’s Parks and green space programs through hands-on activities and education.

Runners can pre-register online at www.gwinnettparksfoundation.org by Nov., 8 or on on-site the day of the race. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., the race begins at 9:00 a.m. and the Canine and Carriage Walk begins at 9:15 a.m.

Tribble Mill Park is located at 2125 Tribble Mill Parkway in Lawrenceville.
