Belly Dancing
The ancient art of belly dance is fun. You will learn basic moves and spicy steps, dance choreography plus techniques for creating your own dances. This class is taught by the author of the book “Dynamic Belly Dance, the Joyful Journey of Dance making and performing.

Lil Sport Soccer Dynamo
Lil Sport Soccer Dynamo is a child development program for kids ages 3 to 6 years old. It uses a variety of fun games to delight and engage kids in physical activity. Classes are professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness, and create self-confidence.

Lil Sport Soccer Dynamo is designed not only to improve soccer skills, but to create FUN interactive play. Our goal, using age appropriate activities, is to introduce new motor skills, foster self-confidence, develop a life-long love for physical activities and promote a healthy lifestyle. Soccer Dynamics
The Soccer Dynamics program is designed for players age 7 and up. It mixes skill development with competitive small-sided games. It is geared to give players confidence with the ball.

Technical training includes thousands of touches on the ball training various ball skills: Passing, moves to beat an opponent, moves to keep possession, shooting, volleys, heading, receiving, etc. Technical training will improve soccer skills. For more information visit

Lil’ All-Stars

Lil’ Stars is a 30 minute instructional as well as educational preschool sports program designed to introduce 2 year olds the basic skills needed to play basketball, football, t-ball and soccer in a fun, safe, playful atmosphere.

All-Stars is a 45 minute instructional as well as educational preschool sports program designed to introduce 3 to 5 year olds the basic skills needed to play basketball,

3D Animation for Movies
Learn to create your own 3D animated short-movies using free 3D software for the PC. Software will be provided for free. No experience required. Please bring your own laptop. Learn to use Autodesk 3D Studio Max and GMax software! (Sorry, free Gmax software doesn’t run on Mac.)

Learn to create your own 3D game mods for video game engines using free 3D software for PC or MAC. Software will be provided for free. No experience required. Please bring your own PC or Mac laptop. Learn to use Autodesk Maya and Maya PLE!

Creative Technology: Game Design
Ages: 12 and up
The class will walk you through the steps of creating a simple graphic game. It will be fairly simple and will use Javascript and web pages. We’ll use a pattern and you will add your own graphics, titles, text and anything else you can customize. We’ll use a simple graphics software program, a basic text editor, HTML, Javascript, add some style and make a little web game. Please bring your own PC or Mac laptop.

Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy People
Beginners, ages 13 and up. This class is very popular with working adults that don’t have time or patience for traditional weekly lessons.

Have you ever wanted to learn the guitar but simply find it difficult to find the time? In just a few hours you can learn enough about playing the guitar to give you years of musical enjoyment, and you won’t have to take private lessons to do it. This crash course will teach you some basic chords and get you playing along with your favorite songs right away. Bring your acoustic guitar. Class limited to 15 students. For ages 13+. Come and enjoy a 30-45 minute presentation that will help you understand the technical features of your digital camera and help nurture your artistic skills. The end result will make your photos look their best and for you to enjoy YOUR photography. This program is taught by our local photographer Mary Buck of Lightscapes Photography, voted “Best of Gwinnett Photography Studio “2003, 2004 and 2007.

    Check out Duluth Parks online registration for soccer at Program started January, but other programs start again in March.
