2ND ANNUAL ALL ABOARD FOR A CURE Saturday, October 17, 2009 | Thrasher Park

Please join the Atlanta Chapter of the UMDF along with hundreds of walkers as we unite in support of those individuals and families affected by mitochondrial disease.

The 2nd Annual All Aboard for a Cure offers all participants a fun-filled experience with entertainment, refreshments, mitochondrial disease resources, and much, much more! Start a corporate, school or family team today!

For the first year, All Aboard for a Cure is having both team and individual incentives!!!! Read below, watch for our fundraising tips during the last month before the walk, and good luck!!

TEAM INCENTIVE: Each TEAM that raises at least $1000, exclusive of registration fees, will receive a TEAM BANNER on the day of the walk which will state, for example, “Team XYZ is ALL ABOARD FOR A CURE”. The steering committee reserves the right to award banners to teams for reasons other than that stated herein and to change or limit this incentive if necessary.

INDIVIDUAL INCENTIVES: Each INDIVIDUAL who raises certain levels of funds, exclusive of registration fees, will have the ability to choose from UMDF and All Aboard for a Cure paraphrenalia and memorabilia on the day of the walk, consistent with the level of funds they have raised. The fund levels for awards are: $100, $300, $500 and $1000+. To have funds count toward this incentive, funds must be either entered on the All Aboard for a Cure website OR received by All Aboard for a Cure on or before October 15, 2009. Funds turned in on the day of the event will not count toward individual incentives. The steering committee reserves the right to award prizes to individuals under these incentives for other reasons and to change or limit this incentive if necessary. Incentive prizes will be varied (watch this site for more information as the date gets closer) and will usually include a choice between at least two (2) different prizes. Prizes will include, but are not limited to, keychains, magnets, pins, shirts, cups, tote bags, and hats.

All Aboard for a CureYour participation could make the difference in funding for research!
