Money raised from the Challenge goes toward recreation scholarships that allow Gwinnett’s children and senior citizens an opportunity to participate in summer camps, swim lessons, sports, and recreation classes who may not have been financially able to do so.

In the past the event has taken place in September over two weeks and in a variety of parks and settings.
