Dog Obedience Training, Tricks and Flybiglity at the Sugar Hill Community Center

Dog Obedience

Basic Obedience:

This class will focus on the fundamentals of good manners by teaching sit, down, heel, and come with the positive
CLICKER method. By the end of class, your dog will be on the road to becoming an AKC Canine Good Citizen
(CGC).
Class Schedule:
April 23, & 30 (Session II)
Time: 7:00 – 8:00 pm
Location: Sugar Hill Community Center
Ages: Adults
Fee: $75.00 per session

Rally Obedience:

This class puts a fun spin on skills your dog already knows. You and your dog will learn true teamwork by taking
the basics of sit, down, come, and heel and kicking it up a notch by learning pivots, turns, spirals, and stayin-
place.
Class Schedule:
April 23, & 30 (Session III)
Time: 7:00 – 8:00 pm (Session I & II) 8:00 – 9:00 pm (Session III)
Location: Sugar Hill Community Center
Ages: Adults
Fee: $35.00 per session

Tricks For Dogs:

Is your dog a pet star or potential pet star? Teach your dog all kinds of fun and entertaining tricks: beg, rollover,
speak, wave, find, fetch, jump through hoops, spin crawl, and much more. This class is open to kids 10 and up
(including adults!) You must be able to safely handle your dog in a group and your dog should know how to sit,
stay, come, and down.
Class Schedule: Friday evenings
Time: TBD, based on interest
Location: Sugar Hill Community Center
Ages: 10 and up/Adults
Fee: $75.00 per session

Flygility:

Flygility is a dog sport that encompasses the speed of Flyball (a game of running through jumps and fetching a
ball) with agility (running through a course of obstacles). This is a new sport in the United States. Come be a
part of this up and coming game.
Class Schedule:
April 23, & 30 (Session IV)
Time: 8:00 – 9:00 pm (Session I, II, III) 7:00 – 8:00 pm (Session IV)
Location: Sugar Hill Community Center/EE Robinson Park
Ages: Adults
Fee: $35.00 per session
