I want to know if I can bring food and coolers in the kid’s water park area.

    Hi Sylvia,
I’ll quote a section of the aquatic safety rules that may apply here: “During open hours, a party atmosphere is NOT permitted. Trophies, cakes, cookie cakes, balloons, decorations, cup cakes, presents, goodie bags, etc. are not permitted. Snacks and small food and drink items are welcome. Interested in throwing a party? Please review our facility rental, classroom rental, and combo rental options.”

I’m adding a link for the rest of the rules – http://www.gwinnettcounty.com/portal/gwinnett/Departments/CommunityServices/ParksandRecreation/Aquatics/AquaticSafetyRules

When I’m at the pools we bring small snacks and drinks. They’re fine with that. It’s when it gets out of hand or it seems like a “birthday Party” that the rules should be followed.

I think its horrible that the pools open so late and close so early being that it is so hot in Georgia…… Just saying!

my sister is coming to visit me from Israel. I live in Snellville. Does she need to pay out of county prices or can I buy the tickets for her if we all come togther?
    Thank you for your time,

That’s a good question to call in to the aquatics at Bethesda 678.924.6334. I would think you purchasing the tickets would be fine, but best to call ahead.

You may know this already but the county’s rule on this is: “To ride the slides, patrons must meet the height requirement. Height requirement vary depending on the facility and slide.” They don’t mention specific requirements on individual pools. You can call Lenora during the week after Noon at 770.982.5309

Complete disappointment for my granddaughters first visit. She is almost 4 years old and has already rode large waterslides forinstance the one at jellystone park she had to be at least 36inches tall and rode it by herself. She rode the inner tubes at six flags. It was ridulous that she couldn’t ride the slide here. Adult swim time seriously isn’t this a water park for children to have fun? Sorry I wasn’t impressed.
