Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at Pinckneyville Park Community Center

Drop dead gorgeous meets “Miss Congeniality in an original murder mystery dinner event, entitled “Hula Killed the Beauty Queen…Yet Again”. For three nights only, April 30, May 1 and May 7 at Gwinnett County Park & Recreation’s Pinckneyville Park Community Recreation Center.

The $25 admission price includes an interactive murder mystery show plus a Hawaiian dinner buffet featuring salad, pulled pork, rolls, sweet potatoes, assorted fruits, pineapple upside-down cake and raspberry tea. All guests will receive a complimentary lei and can also enjoy the non-alcoholic Tiki bar.

After the Hawaiian feast, audiences can sit back and enjoy the shenanigans that occur during the “nationally televised” Miss Hula Girl of the Year pageant. Somewhere between the fitness routine, evening wear, talent, and interview sections, a very public murder sparks pageant gossip and accusations that only the audience can sort in the end.

Some of the well known performers in Gwinnett County appearing will be Tanya Carroll, the Artistic Director for Lionheart Theatre; James Beck, the Creator of Onion Man Productions and its Harvest Festival for new plays; Chuck Mason, Board Member for New Dawn Theatre Company, Jason Caldwell, Catherine Barrow, Michael Stamm and Barbara Bruce. There will also be a guest appearance by Bahama Lynch, Education Artist at the Shakespeare Tavern.

The show is suitable for ages 16 and up. Advanced registration is required by calling 770.417.2200 or visiting Pinckneyville Park Community Recreation Center is located at 4650 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Norcross, Georgia. The event is co-sponsored by Page2Stage Productions and Stacey Sparks Events.
