November 13 is Georgia Gives Day

On November 13, 2014 – Georgia Gives Day — tens of thousands of people will raise as much money as possible in a 24-hour period for nonprofits. You can support Georgia’s natural and cultural treasures by donating to Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites.

Friends is our non-profit partner who is constantly working to protect and enhance our parks. Their next endeavor will achieve projects like building a wheelchair accessible trail at High Falls and a playground at Little Ocmulgee. The Friends’ goal for November 13 is to raise $5,000 in 24 hours — and you can help.
