Night Hike
Saturday, May 23; 8:00 – 10:00 PM
The evening begins with a journey into STARLAB to view the constellations. Then join a naturalist on a journey outdoors to see what happens at night at the CNC. Ages 5 & up, $10 non-members/$5 members. Go to www.chattnaturecenter.org for more information.

Advanced Wildlife Photography with Marvin Price
Saturday, May 23; 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Marvin price, www.marvinpricephotography.com , has spent many hours at CNC honing his skills as a wildlife photographer, and is eager to share those skills with you. This class will provide you with a unique opportunity to photograph CNC’s raptors, reptiles, insects & gardens. There will also be time to share & critique your art and gain hands-on experience with advanced equipment. Bring your own lunch; drinks & snacks provided. $175 non-members/$150 members. Chestatee River Discovery Float
Saturday, May 23; 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Join Naturalist Jerry Hightower along a beautiful tributary of the Chattahoochee River for an easy 6.3 mile float punctuated with several very mild rapids. Paddle past banks covered with Rhododendron and Mountain Laurel, ferns, and wildflowers. Easy paddling suitable for beginners, but participants must have basic skills. We will caravan from CNC. Bring water & a pack lunch; snacks are included. $70 non-members/$60 members (fee includes canoe, paddles and life vest). Pre-registration required. Spring STARLAB
Sunday, May 24; 1:00– 2:00 PM (Two, 25-minute sessions)
A naturalist will guide you as you learn about the stars, constellations, and planets that are prominent in the spring night sky in our giant, inflatable STARLAB planetarium. Ages 5 and up. General admission: $5 adults, $4 seniors, $2 children 3-12, FREE for members and children 2 and under. Go to www.chattnaturecenter.org for more information.

Exploration Stations
Monday, May 25; 1:00 – 2:30 PM
Ages 4-12. Visit the Classification, Conservation, Observation, Sensation, and Pollination Stations and find out through hands-on activities about each of these exciting areas of our natural world.
